I was so happy when Ari’s family hired me to photograph his Renaissance Westchester Hotel Bar Mitzvah. I photographed his sister’s Bat Mitzvah at the Renaissance Westchester a few years ago, and it was great to work with this fun family again.
The day before his Bar Mitzvah ceremony, we met up at the Greenburgh Hebrew Center for some family portraits. I really love these “day-before” portrait sessions. They provide a great opportunity for some fun (and some serious) family portraits, without any time pressure or distractions.
Ari is a big time snowboarder. So, of course, his Renaissance Westchester Hotel Bar Mitzvah had a wintery, ski & snowboarding theme. The table cards were printed on ski passes, and his guests all signed a snowboard! Very cool idea.
