STUDIO:

Can be done any time of day

Not weather-dependent

Air-conditioned

The studio is quite small, does not work well for large groups

Classic look of studio portraiture

OUTDOORS:

Can be more fun for young children

More interesting backgrounds- nature, your favorite park, etc.

Better for larger groups

Weather-dependent. Can be re-scheduled if there is rain.

Better light early morning or late afternoon
