Jamie’s Bat Mitzvah ceremony was at Temple Beth Shalom in Dobbs Ferry, with a lunch party afterwards at Il Sorriso in Irvington. I LOVE this family! They used to live across the street from me, so I have known Jamie since she was about 5 or 6 years old. It was great to see her all grown up and looking beautiful in her Bat Mitzvah photos.
It’s a really special feeling when a family chooses me to photograph several events for them, and I have come to feel like I’m almost part of the family myself. Besides Jamie’s Bat Mitzvah, I have also photographed her mother’s wedding and her big sister’s Bat Mitzvah, and I look forward to photographing her younger brother’s Bar Mitzvah when that comes around.
