Westchester Manor Bar Mitzvah images

This Westchester Manor Bar Mitzvah was a truly special and fun event to photograph.

First of all, I have known this family for many years, as they live nearby. Cole’s sister Nina’s Bat Mizvah was one the the first I photographed after opening the studio, and it is a great feeling and huge compliment when families choose to hire me as their photographer again.

Cole had his Bar Mitzvah ceremony and party at Westchester Manor in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. I believe this was one of the first events since their huge renovation, and everything looked fantastic. The ceremony took place in Westchester Manor’s large upstairs ballroom. I love being able to photograph a Bar Mitzvah ceremony, as it is quite a rare treat and usually not possible when the ceremony takes place in a temple. After the ceremony, there was a cocktail hour in the ground floor ballroom. Then, back up to the main space for the party, dinner, and dancing.

Of course, a Bar Mitzvah party needs a great DJ to get the kids & adults out onto the dance floor. Travesties Entertainment did a fantastic job, as always.
